Drs. Hoagland and Figert join Baptist Surgical Associates

Patricia Figert, MD, and William Hoagland, MD, general surgery, have joined Baptist Medical Associates. Their practice is located at 3950 Kresge Way, Ste. 404.

Dr. Figert is a 1994 graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich. She completed a graduate course in image-guided surgery, including sentinel lymph node biopsy, ultrasound-guided biopsy and stereotactic breast biopsy, in 1998, as well as a research fellowship at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, also in 1998. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2000. She is board certified in general surgery.

Dr. Hoagland is a 1983 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis in 1984 and 1988, respectively. He is board certified in general surgery.
