Baptist Medical Associates, Baptist Surgical Associates announce new providers
Baptist Medical Associates and Baptist Surgical Associates are proud to announce the addition of several new physicians and a nurse practitioner.
Hans Noffsinger, MD, internal medicine, has joined Baptist Medical Associates Kresge I. He is a 1995 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in 1997. He is board-certified in internal medicine.
Monica Key, APRN, has joined CBC Group - Consulting in Blood Disorders and Cancer, a part of Baptist Medical Associates. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Phoenix and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bellarmine University in 2008. She graduated from the University of Louisville adult nurse practitioner program in 2011.
Nechol Allen, MD, colon and rectal surgery, has joined Baptist Colon and Rectal Surgery, part of Baptist Surgical Associates. Dr. Allen is a 2000 graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albequerque. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2005. She completed a minimally invasive surgery/laparoscopy fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta in 2006, and a research fellowship and clinical fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Dr. Allen is board-certified in surgery.
Harry Kourlis Jr., MD, cardiothoracic surgery, has joined Baptist Cardiac Surgery, part of Baptist Surgical Associates. Dr. Kourlis is a 1991 graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1996. Dr. Kourlis completed a general vascular surgery fellowship there in 1997, and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at University of Louisville Hospital in 1999. He is board-certified in general and thoracic surgery.
Jeremy Statton, MD, orthopedic surgery, has joined Baptist Surgical Associates Orthopedics in La Grange. Dr. Statton is a 2003 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his residency in 2008 at University of Louisville Hospital. He completed an orthopedics and sports medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati/Wellington and an orthopedic trauma fellowship at Welhelminenspital in Vienna, Austria, both in 2009. Dr. Statton is board-eligible in orthopedic surgery.
