Baptist Center for Pain Control opens

Elmer Dunbar, MD, pain management, has joined Baptist Medical Associates. His practice, the Baptist Center for Pain Control, is located at Baptist Eastpoint, 2400 Eastpoint Parkway.

Dr. Dunbar is a 1978 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his anesthesia internship at University of Louisville Hospital in 1980 and residency at the University of Cincinnati in 1981. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians and a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice by the World Institute of Pain.
